Beirut: The first Emirates Airlines flight landed at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut, marking a significant moment following the United Arab Emirates’ decision to lift its travel ban on Lebanon.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the arrivals hall at the airport was decorated with flowers to welcome the aircraft and its passengers, symbolizing the restoration of Gulf tourism to Lebanon. Emirati passengers expressed joy at their return to Lebanon, highlighting the importance of recent political developments, including the election of a new president.
Passengers anticipated an increase in the number of travelers from the UAE in the coming days, acknowledging the warm reception and hospitality they experienced upon arrival.
