For the first time, Syria participates in the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad

For the first time, Syria participates in the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO).

The mathematics competition is organized by Hungary, in which students from 57 countries to compete remotely.

Two members from the Syrian Scientific Olympiad in mathematics, namely Bana Muhna and Mary Nawil participate in the competition, the National Commission for the Syrian Science Olympiad said Saturday.

The competition includes two rounds of tests today and two ones tomorrow, each lasting four a half hours continuously, and ss soon as the tests are over, the answers are sent to Hungary to be corrected by the International Scientific Committee of the competition and calculate the marks and results.
