Baakline: In a celebrated event held at Baakline’s National Library Square, the foundation stone for the world’s largest book, titled ‘Pioneers from the Land of Cedars’ by Fadi Riyad Saad, was ceremoniously laid. This significant occasion was organized by the Lebanese and Diaspora Cultural Council in collaboration with the National Library. The event was graced with the presence of MP Taymour Jumblatt, who served as the patron, along with Minister of Culture Ghassan Salam© and NNA Director Ziad Harfoush. Both Minister Salam© and MP Jumblatt delivered speeches highlighting the cultural importance of this monumental project.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the day was filled with various cultural and community-driven events across the region. In Sin El Fil, the Graphic Designers Syndicate organized a workshop on artificial intelligence in graphic design at the local municipality. Meanwhile, the NGO ‘Nahnou’ hosted an event titled ‘Reviving Beirut Pine Forest’ at Horsh Beirut in Qasqas, featuring dialogue sessions on municipal work and elections, as well as artistic and agricultural activities.

In Zgharta-Zawiya, the Municipal Shadow Council was launched at the Municipal Theater in the Pierre Fershakh Hall. As part of another intellectual event, the Friends of White Knowledge Society, led by Eng. Haifa Al Arab, conducted a lecture on esoteric science titled ‘Inner Senses: When, How, and Why Do They Awaken?’ at the Esoteric Science Center in Hazmieh. Additionally, a book discussion on ‘Elissa – Queen of Tyre and Carthage’ by Lamisse Chakir took place, organized by the Charles Corm Foundation and Dar Al-Nahar at the Charles Corm Building in Achrafieh.
