Beirut: French Ambassador to Lebanon, Herv© Magro, accompanied by political advisor Romain Calvary, held a meeting on Monday with the "Independent Consultative Gathering" bloc at their office in Parliament. The bloc, a significant political group in Lebanon, includes Vice Speaker Elias Bou Saab and Members of Parliament Ibrahim Kanaan, Simon Abi Ramia, and Alain Aoun.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting focused on the current situation in Lebanon and the broader region, primarily the developments of the ongoing war. Discussions delved into the efforts led by the President of the Republic aimed at negotiating an end to the conflict. Additionally, the dialogue addressed the implications of the Islamabad negotiations between the United States and Iran on the Lebanese political and security landscape.
