Beirut: Lebanese Forces Party leader, Samir Geagea, on Tuesday hosted a meeting with Dr. Thomas Volk, Head of the Middle East and North Africa department of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, along with Christina Baade, the Foundation's Director in Lebanon, and Projects Manager Albert Jawhar.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting saw participation from "Strong Republic" bloc MP George Okais, former Minister Richard Kouyoumjian, Emile Moukarzel, Tony Darwish, Jean Khashan, and Rodolph Zgheib. The discussions centered around the latest political developments in Lebanon and the region. They also explored the existing relations between the Lebanese Forces Party and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, aiming to enhance cooperation to support shared goals.
The dialogue emphasized promoting dialogue, democratic practices, capacity building, and expertise exchange. It aimed at consolidating good governance principles and backing Lebanon's reform process. The participants highlighted the importance of sustained coordination and consultations on mutual interests to reinforce the partnership and contribute to stability and development in Lebanon and the region.
