Lebanese Forces leader, Samir Geagea, held talks with UK Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish Cowell, whom he received at his Maarab residence on Tuesday.

The pair discussed the latest developments in Lebanon and the broader region.

During the meeting, Geagea said that there will be no solution in Lebanon unless an actual president of the republic capable of making the right decisions is elected.

He stressed that the growing economic and social crisis is the result of the political disagreement between two different projects in the country.

“The LF and its friends are leading the confrontation of the defiance camp’s scheme,” he said.

He added that the solution to the crises is in the hands of the Lebanese.

He also thanked his guest for the UK support for the Lebanese people in all fields.
