Maarab: Lebanese Forces leader, Samir Geagea, on Wednesday received a delegation from the town of Rmahala in Aley district at Maarab, where discussions focused on local development and municipal needs.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Geagea stressed the importance of public service without discrimination, emphasizing that responsibility is a duty toward all citizens. He underscored the need for clarity in political positions, arguing that neutrality between "state and non-state" actors only prolongs crises and weakens accountability.
Reaffirming the stance of the Lebanese Forces, Geagea said the party would continue advocating for a strong, sovereign, and transparent state governed by institutions and the rule of law, while confronting corruption and patronage politics.
The delegation highlighted Rmahala's development priorities and praised cooperation between local officials and the party's regional leadership. The meeting concluded with the presentation of a commemorative gift to Geagea and a renewed commitment to supporting the town's development and community initiatives.
