Haidar Engages with Rashaf Delegation to Address Community and Employment Issues

Beirut: Labor Minister Mohammad Haidar met with a delegation from the town of Rashaf, located in the Bint Jbeil district, led by Mayor Mohammad Assili. The delegation provided Haidar with an update on the severe challenges confronting the town, which is experiencing a complete displacement of its residents and extensive destruction due to ongoing Israeli attacks.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the Rashaf delegation urged for increased international engagement to demand an end to the Israeli assaults on southern villages and to seek aid for Rashaf and its displaced population. The delegation emphasized the need for global assistance to address the dire situation faced by the town's residents.

In a separate meeting, Haidar engaged with representatives from the Graphic Design Syndicate to explore the challenges within the sector and issues concerning the professional conditions of its members. The discussions aimed to identify ways to support the industry's workforce and address their pressing concerns.

Additionally, Haidar held talks with a delegation from the Syndicate of Public School Employees, led by Hassan Amhaz. The discussions centered around the demands and concerns of public school employees regarding their employment rights and living conditions, highlighting the need for improvements in their working environment.
