Beirut: Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Al-Hajjar strongly condemned the Israeli forces' abduction of citizen Atwi Atwi from his home in the town of Al-Hebbarieh. "This escalation is categorically unacceptable and constitutes a blatant violation of sovereignty and security," he said, renewing his call for "the release of all Lebanese detainees held by Israel."

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Al-Hajjar also denounced the ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory, which today led to the martyrdom of Internal Security Forces member Hassan Jaber and his son Ali Jaber, as they were passing near the site of an Israeli strike in the southern town of Yanouh.
