Beirut: Interior Minister, Ahmad Hajjar, on Thursday met with UNIFIL Head of Mission and Force Commander, General Aroldo L¡zaro, with whom he discussed the mission’s operations in South Lebanon and cooperation in implementing UN Resolution 1701. Minister Hajar reaffirmed Lebanon’s strong commitment to working closely with UNIFIL, especially during this critical period.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Hajjar also received Lebanese Ambassador to Egypt, Ali Al-Halabi.
