Gaza City: Four Palestinian journalists were killed and a fifth critically wounded on Thursday after an Israeli drone strike targeted the courtyard of the Baptist Hospital in central Gaza City, according to local sources.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the strike claimed the lives of journalists Ismail Bdaih, Suleiman Hajjaj, and Samir Al-Rifai, who were on assignment near the hospital entrance, an area known to be frequented by media personnel. Journalist Imad Daloul sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed into intensive care.
The strike on a medical facility’s premises has further raised alarm among humanitarian organizations operating in the besieged territory.
