Beirut: Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar on Wednesday chaired a meeting on traffic conditions in Beirut with senior security and municipal officials. The discussions focused on measures to improve traffic management and public order, particularly regarding motorcycle-related violations. Hajjar stressed the need for firm action against offenses that contribute to disorder and instructed authorities to fully implement the ministry's directive aimed at strengthening enforcement against motorcycle violations in the capital.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, officials reviewed an operational plan centered on sustained crackdowns targeting motorcycles involved in behavior that threatens public security, public order, and road safety. Hajjar emphasized that the ministry will closely monitor implementation in coordination with the Internal Security Forces and Beirut municipal authorities to enhance citizen safety and restore order on the city's roads.
