Beirut: Interior Minister Ahmad Hajjar has taken steps to ensure the smooth operation of civil registry departments, whose records have been relocated to Beirut as a precaution against Israeli bombardment.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Hajjar convened a meeting with civil registry officials from several regions, including Nabatieh, Marjayoun, Tyre, Mays al-Jabal, Jouaiya, Jbaa, and Tebnine. The meeting focused on the mechanisms in place to process transactions for citizens, especially those who have been displaced, and the challenges associated with maintaining administrative services under current conditions.

Hajjar emphasized the importance of facilitating transactions and ensuring they are completed swiftly. He committed to providing the necessary resources to guarantee the continuity of public services. He also commended the dedication of the employees managing citizens’ affairs and essential administrative needs during this period.
