Beirut: Handing over the Syrian prisoners to the Syrian judiciary, in accordance with the judicial agreement between the two countries, is a correct step that should be commended on the path to addressing all outstanding issues between Lebanon and Syria, based on common interests and fraternal equal relations. We must purify, rectify, and correct all the distortions that governed our relations during the days of tutelage.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, MP Bilal Abdallah expressed his support for the recent transfer of Syrian prisoners to the Syrian judiciary. Utilizing the “X” platform, Abdallah emphasized that this action aligns with the judicial agreement established between Lebanon and Syria. He highlighted the importance of this move as a significant step towards resolving ongoing issues between the two nations.

Abdallah urged for the purification and rectification of past distortions that have affected Lebanese-Syrian relations, particularly those from the period of tutelage. His statemen
