Beirut: Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani continued his official visit to the Netherlands on Thursday, spearheading a Lebanese agricultural delegation focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and leveraging Dutch expertise in agricultural innovation, smart farming, and food security.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the delegation engaged in discussions with the Netherlands Food Partnership and Greenport Aalsmeer. These meetings aimed at exploring sustainable food systems, value-chain development, agricultural technology, and export opportunities. Hani emphasized Lebanon's commitment to developing a modern agricultural sector centered on innovation, sustainability, and international collaborations.
The day concluded in Wageningen, where the delegation planned further discussions with prominent research and academic institutions. These talks are expected to focus on scientific and technical cooperation, potentially paving the way for future advancements in Lebanon's agricultural landscape.
