Fanar: Agriculture Minister, Nizar Hani, on Thursday visited the Agricultural School in Fanar, designated as a temporary shelter for ministry employees and their families amid the current security situation. Accompanied by Agriculture Director General Louis Lahoud and senior officials, Hani checked on the displaced staff and affirmed that their safety remains a priority alongside maintaining services for farmers. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Hani also inspected the Mount Lebanon Agriculture Department, adopted as an alternative headquarters to ensure administrative continuity. Hani said the ministry is conducting livestock damage assessments and implementing emergency measures to relocate cattle, sheep, and beehives from high-risk areas, stressing that protecting livestock is essential to safeguarding Lebanon's food security.
