Beirut: Hezbollah has issued a statement condemning recent acts of aggression by the Israeli forces, highlighting a series of incidents in the Hasbaya district. According to Hezbollah, the Israeli incursion into the town of Hebbarieh involved the kidnapping of Atwi Atwi, the head of the Islamic Group in the Hasbaya and Marjeyoun regions. The incident reportedly involved violence against Atwi and intimidation of his family members.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the statement from Hezbollah also addressed two attacks on a vehicle in the town of Yanouh, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including a child. Additionally, a separate incident in the town of Aita al-Shaab led to the death of another citizen.

Hezbollah's statement criticized these actions as evidence of the "criminal and brutal nature" of the Israeli forces, accusing them of murder, terrorism, and piracy, and of ignoring Lebanese sovereignty. The statement further suggested that these actions mark a new phase of Israeli lawlessness and aggression, posing a direct threat to the people of Southern Lebanon.

In response to these events, Hezbollah called on the Lebanese government to fulfill its national responsibilities. The party urged the government to take preventive measures and adopt firm positions at political, diplomatic, and legal levels to safeguard its citizens. The statement emphasized the need for immediate action, particularly following the Prime Minister's recent visit to the South, where he witnessed the suffering of the local population and the presence of occupation forces on Lebanese land.
