Beirut: Hezbollah said in a statement today that “the Islamic Resistance targeted last night a gathering of Israeli enemy army vehicles and soldiers in the town of Al-Bayyada with a rocket barrage, in response to the enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and its attacks on villages in southern Lebanon, which resulted in the fall of martyrs and a number of civilian injuries.”

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the attack was carried out as a direct retaliation to what Hezbollah described as repeated ceasefire violations by Israeli forces. These incursions have reportedly led to casualties among civilians in the affected areas, increasing tensions along the border region. The statement from Hezbollah highlighted their intent to respond to any aggression impacting Lebanese territories, signaling a continued cycle of retaliation between the two sides.
