Beirut: Head of the Dekwaneh municipality, Antoine Chakhtoura, and the Eastern Club for Civilizations Dialogue (ECCD) extended an invitation to the International Media Olympiad delegation for a lunch banquet at the Zone restaurant in Dekwaneh.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Chakhtoura expressed hope that the week ahead would be productive and that the delegation would achieve its goals. The gathering was an opportunity for delegates from various countries to engage and discuss future collaborations.

Head of the delegation, Damien Dejardin, highlighted the diverse composition of the delegation, which includes representatives from France, Belgium, Russia, Australia, Romania, Croatia, Canada, Hungary, Serbia, Slovakia, China, and Arab states such as the UAE and Egypt. This diversity reflects the global nature of the event and the importance of international dialogue.

Press Syndicate Chief Mohammad Baalbaki remarked on the historic nature of the initiative. He expressed hope that the information sector would adopt the same cooperative and enthusiastic spirit found in the Olympic Games, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose among the delegates.
