Beirut: Chairman and General Manager of the Housing Bank, Antoine Habib, on Wednesday met Economy Minister Amer Bisat to discuss the bank's projects and efforts to expand housing loans.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Habib highlighted ongoing coordination on insurance-related matters and called for support for a proposal to exempt Housing Bank borrowers from property registration fees. He said the initiative, which has received backing from President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, would ease financial burdens on borrowers and facilitate home ownership.
