Dubai: Acting Banque du Liban (BDL) governor Wassim Mansouri met with International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief Kristalina Georgieva on the sidelines of the World Government Summit to discuss Lebanon’s economic situation.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Kristalina Georgieva reaffirmed the IMF’s support for Lebanon and its government during the meeting. She also expressed her intention to visit the country soon, highlighting the continued engagement between the IMF and Lebanon amidst the ongoing economic challenges faced by the nation.
