Beirut: Information Minister Dr. Paul Morcos held a meeting at the ministry with Lebanese American University (LAU) President Dr. Chaouki Abdallah, who was joined by LAU's Vice President for Communication and Alumni Relations, Gabriel Abiad, and the University's Senior Director of Media and Public Relations, Nada Torbey.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions centered on the current condition of universities in Lebanon and various projects being undertaken by the Ministry, particularly those related to archiving and digitization. The conversations also explored potential contributions that universities could make in these areas.

Dr. Abdallah emphasized the significance of bolstering cooperation between the ministry and universities. He highlighted that such partnerships could serve the interests of Lebanon, its students, and graduates, while also enhancing the collaboration between the academic sector and official institutions.
