The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in Maysan Governorate seized weapons of various types and shapes and arrested their holders. The Agency stated in a statement that the Intelligence Agency detachments (Federal Police Intelligence Directorate) in cooperation with the Rapid Response Division Command carried out a qualitative operation characterized by accuracy and speed after monitoring information indicating that there were suspects in their possession of weapons of various types and shapes inside their home, where the force proceeded to raid the house and seize the weapons and arrest their holders, who numbered three suspects, after obtaining the original judicial approvals, as the suspects were handed over to the competent investigative authorities to receive their just punishment.
