Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar Inspects Security Measures at Beirut Airport

Beirut: Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar conducted an inspection tour of Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport this afternoon, where he was briefed on the security and administrative measures in place to ensure the safety of arriving and departing Lebanese, Arab, and foreign tourists, and to enhance preparedness for the tourist season.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, during his tour, Minister Al-Hajjar listened to a number of passengers in the departure and arrival halls, expressing interest in their comments and suggestions and emphasizing the need to provide the best possible services to citizens and visitors.

He also met with a number of concerned officers and personnel, commending their ongoing efforts to ensure the airport’s safety and regulate its daily operations. “Beirut Airport is Lebanon’s main facade,” Al-Hajjar affirmed, emphasizing “the importance of enhancing coordination between the various security and administrative apparatuses operating there.”
