Beirut:Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Al-Hajjar held a meeting with the Director General of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), Susanne Raab, at his office in the ministry. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the Ministry and the ICMPD, particularly through training and capacity-building programs.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Raab expressed the ICMPD's readiness to support Lebanon in areas related to migration and to strengthen cooperation with Lebanon's security institutions, aligning with the country's needs. Minister Al-Hajjar emphasized the significance of this cooperation and the importance of leveraging the ICMPD's technical expertise.

In a separate engagement, Minister Al-Hajjar met with the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Lebanon, Anura Withanage. The discussions revolved around the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Sri Lanka, exploring ways to develop these ties and enhance cooperation in various fields.
