Beirut: Interior and Municipalities Minister, Ahmad Al-Hajjar, met with Carolina Lindholm Billing, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees' Representative in Lebanon, alongside the agency's Senior Liaison Officer, Chokrallah Aboujoudeh.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions centered on the latest regional developments and the humanitarian needs arising from the recent Israeli offensive on Lebanon. The meeting also addressed the situation of displaced people and efforts to tackle the ongoing humanitarian challenges.
The conversation further included updates on the plan for the return of displaced Syrians to their homeland. Minister Al-Hajjar emphasized the significance of exchanging data on displaced Syrians to ensure alignment with the records maintained by Lebanon's General Directorate of General Security.
