Beirut: Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Al-Hajjar issued a decision banning the movement of trucks in the Beirut and Mount Lebanon governorates. The ban is part of the preparations for the anticipated visit of Pope Leo XIV.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the truck ban will be in effect from 8:30 AM on Sunday, November 30, 2025, until 9:30 PM on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. This measure is intended to ensure smooth transportation and heightened security during the Pope’s visit.
