Tehran: Iran will target U.S. bases in the Middle East if it comes under attack from U.S. forces positioned in the region, stated Iran's foreign minister. This declaration is intended not as aggression towards the countries hosting these bases, but as a direct response to potential U.S. military actions. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made these remarks during an interview with Qatari Al Jazeera TV. This statement came a day after both Tehran and Washington committed to continuing their indirect nuclear talks, following productive discussions in Oman on Friday. Araghchi mentioned that although no specific date has been confirmed for the subsequent round of negotiations, U.S. President Donald Trump suggested that the talks could resume early next week. Araghchi expressed the shared sentiment with Washington that these discussions should proceed promptly.
