Beirut: Iran warned on Monday that the ongoing exchange of strikes with Israel could affect diplomatic efforts with the United States aimed at ending the conflict in the Middle East. Speaking at his weekly press conference, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said it was "natural" for the current diplomatic process to be affected by what he described as the war imposed on Iran.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Baghaei's remarks came amid renewed military exchanges between Iran and Israel and ongoing efforts to reach a broader settlement to the regional conflict.
