Iraq, Egypt And Jordan Discuss Economic, Regional And International Issues

Iraq, Egypt and Jordan discussed today, Wednesday, economic, regional and international issues of common concern.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sameh Shoukry, and the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Safadi, held a meeting within the framework of the tripartite coordination mechanism between the three countries, on the sidelines of the meeting of Ministerial Preparatory Council of the League of Arab States at the summit level in its thirty-second session in Jeddah.

According to the statement, during the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance consultation and coordination within the framework of the tripartite cooperation mechanism, as well as discussing developments in the executive position of joint projects between the three brotherly countries, and the meeting discussed the latest regional and international developments of common interest, and developments in the situation in the region.

The meeting also agreed, according to the statement, on the need to continue consultations and coordinate positions towards common challenges, regional developments, especially in Syria, as well as developments in the Palestinian cause. / End
