Beirut: Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji received a phone call from Irish Foreign Minister Helen McEntee to discuss recent developments in Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, McEntee affirmed Ireland's intention to use its full influence within the European Union to halt Israel's ongoing escalation on Lebanese territory and expressed strong condemnation of civilian casualties resulting from the attacks.
Minister Rajji thanked her for Dublin's continued support for Lebanon, praising the sacrifices of the Irish battalion serving under UNIFIL in southern Lebanon for protecting citizens and maintaining stability.
