Israeli Chief of Staff Asserts Continued Fighting in Southern Lebanon

Southern lebanon: Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir stated on Sunday that the ceasefire in Lebanon is "fragile" and the army "continues to fight" in the region.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Zamir, who was speaking in southern Lebanon, emphasized the ongoing military efforts. He remarked, "We continue to fight. Our goal remains clear: to defend the towns in northern Israel and Israeli civilians. This is the goal that guides all our efforts, and the operations in the Ali Taher and Beaufort areas also serve this objective."

The Chief of Staff further noted that Hezbollah is confronting "a very difficult situation" during his inspection of Israeli forces stationed in southern Lebanon.
