Israeli Drones Ignite Large Wildfire in Jdeidet Marjeyoun


Jdeidet marjeyoun: Israeli drones dropped several incendiary bombs on the outskirts of the town of Jdeidet Marjeyoun, in the Gharb al-Tall area, sparking a large wildfire that consumed more than 100 dunums of agricultural land.



According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the fire ravaged both harvested and unharvested wheat fields, olive groves, and various other agricultural crops.



Civil Defense teams engaged in a lengthy six-hour battle against the flames. Firefighting units from Jdeidet Marjeyoun received support from crews in Qlayaa, Khiam, Rashaya Al-Foukhar, and Hasbaya, ultimately succeeding in controlling the fire and preventing its spread to additional areas.
