Italian news agency “Nova” and the National News Agency “NNA” have signed an agreement with the aim of strengthening cooperation, exchanging information, as well as promoting better knowledge between the peoples of both countries.
The agreement was signed by NNA Director, Ziad Harfouche, and Nova General Manager, Fabio Squillanti.
Commenting on the agreement, Nova said in a statement that the NNA was one of the most important news agencies in the Arab world.
“It is distinguished with its independence and reliability, not to mention that it provides its services in Arabic, English, and French,” Nova’s statement said.
Nova is Italy’s most important source of information on international political and economic developments. In addition to its services in the Italian language, the agency provides another service under the title of “Nova Arab News”.
Nova’s Squillanti said that the agreement “strengthens Nova’s international network in terms of geopolitical developments, especially for national companies and institutions.”
For his part, Harfouche said that the cooperation agreement with Nova was a surplus of knowledge and culture for NNA.
“We are proud to sign this agreement with the Italian news agency, Nova, especially that Lebanon and Italy share many cultural, humanitarian, and historical ties that have always been present in the heart of every Lebanese,” Harfouche added.
