Beirut: The joint parliamentary committees have approved the new Media Law during their latest session, marking a significant step in the legislative process.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Deputy Speaker of Parliament Elias Bou Saab announced that Speaker Nabih Berri has scheduled a meeting of the Parliament's Bureau on Monday. This meeting is a preparatory step for holding a General Assembly session next week, where further discussions and approvals are expected to take place. The approval of the Media Law by the joint parliamentary committees signals progress in legislative reforms.
