Jordanian Tourism Minister Concludes Visit to Lebanon Focused on Cultural Cooperation

Beirut:Jordanian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Imad Al-Hijazin has wrapped up his three-day official visit to Lebanon, following an invitation from Lebanese Tourism Minister Laura Lahoud.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Al-Hijazin's visit included a tour of the Port of Beirut, where he observed the site of the August 4 explosion, along with a visit to the renowned Raouche Rock.

Discussions between Al-Hijazin and Lahoud centered on boosting religious tourism and the exchange of expertise. The ministers also explored opportunities for enhanced cooperation and participation in cultural and tourism events in both countries, with particular emphasis on art, culture, and the development of hiking trails, especially those related to religious pilgrimages.

Additionally, Al-Hijazin extended an invitation to Minister Lahoud to visit Jordan.
