Journalists of Syria stand in solidarity with their colleague Mohammad al-Saghir, kidnapped by QSD militia

Journalists of Syria stood on Thursday in solidarity with correspondent of Syrian Al-Ikhbariyah News Channel, Journalist Mohammad al-Saghir, who was kidnapped by US occupation-linked QSD militia, according to SANA reporter .

The reporter added that the journalists staged a stand in front of their Union and raised slogans demanding to set the journalist al-Saghir free.

Assistant Information Minister, Ahmad Dawa said: “We call for the immediate release of Journalist Mohammad al-Saghir.”

“He did not commit any crime, but was arrested because he conveyed the truth of what is happening in Syrian al-jazeera ,” Dawa said, adding that it is our duty as journalists to stand by him and defend him.

US occupation –backed QSD militia kidnapped journalist al-Saghir in 2019.
