Beirut: National News Agency correspondent reported that Public Prosecutor, Judge Ahmad Al-Haj, has ordered the transfer of former Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh from Bhannes Hospital to the Information Branch facility at Roumieh Prison, where he has officially been admitted as a detainee.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Salameh will remain under medical supervision while in custody. However, if his condition requires treatment or hospitalization, the appropriate legal and medical procedures will be implemented as necessary, in accordance with decisions by the concerned judicial and security authorities.
