Beirut: Minister of Justice Adel Nassar expressed a renewed commitment to justice on the anniversary of the assassination of martyred judges Hassan Othman, Walid Harmoush, Assem Abu Daher, and Ibrahim Eid. In a statement on his “X” platform account, Nassar emphasized the role of the judiciary as steadfast, independent, and proud, as envisioned by the late judges.
According to National News Agency Lebanon, Nassar vowed that the message of the assassinated judges remains entrusted to those in the judiciary. He declared that betrayal would not extinguish the light of truth and underscored a zero-tolerance policy towards impunity. The statement highlighted the ongoing dedication to ensuring that justice prevails, fulfilling the legacy of the martyred judges.
