Tripoli: MP Ibrahim Kanaan expressed his solidarity and support for the Civil Defense personnel operating under challenging conditions in Tripoli. In a statement shared on his "X" page, Kanaan highlighted the dire situation faced by Civil Defense units following the building collapse in al-Qebbeh.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Kanaan criticized government officials for ignoring the demands for an adequate budget for the Civil Defense institution. He pointed out that these officials were unprepared for the decision to allocate funds from the Finance Committee's reserve budget to provide the essential resources required for the Civil Defense to continue their operations.
