Karami Condemns Destruction of Kfar Tebnit Public School, Vows Education Will Continue

Kfar tebnit: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced that the Martyr Mahmoud Fakih Public School in Kfar Tebnit has joined the growing list of schools destroyed in Israeli attacks.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Education Minister Dr. Rima Karami condemned the destruction of the school, describing it as a deliberate attack targeting future generations, particularly as it came on the first morning of the new academic year. Karami appealed to the international community and leaders of influential countries to act to halt attacks on educational institutions, which are internationally regarded as places of safety during times of conflict, and called for the protection of the schools that remain standing.

"We remain committed to education regardless of the mounting attacks," Karami stressed, affirming that students would continue their education wherever possible, carrying forward their aspirations and hopes for success, stability and recovery.
