Beirut:Education and Higher Education Minister Rima Karami met with a delegation from the European Union and Germany's development bank, KFW, to discuss strategies for rehabilitating educational infrastructure throughout Lebanon.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the discussions centered on constructing new schools, reinforcing heavily damaged facilities, and repairing schools that have sustained less severe damage.

The initiative is part of the EU's response to the ministry's plan and priorities, which aim to provide a safe learning environment, maintain education quality, and ensure that every child has access to a school place.
