The party emphasized its stance through a detailed statement, advocating for Lebanese sovereignty and the exclusive control of arms by the Lebanese State.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Kataeb Party reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that any disarmament initiative occurs within a framework that respects Lebanon's sovereignty. The party called for support from Lebanon's regional and international partners, emphasizing that such efforts should serve the interests of the Lebanese State exclusively. The statement highlighted the importance of strengthening legitimate state institutions and enforcing the full authority of the Lebanese government over its territory.

The party also addressed Lebanon's future relationship with Syria, advocating for a partnership based on mutual respect for sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs. The Kataeb Party underscored the need for constructive cooperation on shared interests without military or political intervention from either country in the other's affairs.
