KHAIR: ADOPTION OF WYZCOLENIA DISTRICT IN WARSAW AS A GATHERING CENTER FOR LEBANESE NATIONALS ARRIVING FROM UKRAINE IN PREPARATION FOR THEIR EVACUATION

Lebanese High Relief Commission Secretary-General, Major General Mohammad Khair, announced in a statement on Sunday, that “an agreement was reached with the Polish authorities, and in coordination with the Lebanese Embassy in Poland, to consider the “Friendship Association with Children Center” in the 31wyzcolenia area in the Polish capital, Warsaw, as a gathering and shelter point for Lebanese nationals arriving from Ukraine, in preparation for their evacuation and return to Lebanon, within the framework of following-up on the situation of the Lebanese in Ukraine.

It is to note that Prime Minister Najib Mikati, after a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdallah Bou Habib, has assigned the Higher Relief Commission to make the necessary preparations for the evacuation of Lebanese nationals at a date to be determined later.
