Labor Minister Visits Tyre, Vows Reconstruction and Rejects Framework Agreement

Tyre: Labor Minister Mohammad Haydar toured the industrial city and neighborhoods of Tyre alongside MPs Ali Khreis and Hussein Jishi to assess the damage caused by Israeli attacks. He said the destruction deliberately targeted the region's economic infrastructure but stressed that residents are determined to return and rebuild.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Haydar reaffirmed the government's commitment to launching reconstruction once international funding is secured and called on the international community to ensure a genuine ceasefire and curb Israeli attacks. He also rejected the proposed framework agreement, saying it "will not see the light of day."

MP Ali Khreis said Israel targeted Lebanon's economy and urged the government to hold a Cabinet session in Tyre or Nabatieh to witness the destruction firsthand. MP Hussein Jishi praised the resilience of the Lebanese people, saying they remain committed to their land despite the devastation.
