Lebanese Army Dismantles Unexploded Aerial Bombs in Haret Hreik

Beirut: The Lebanese Armed Forces announced that a specialized unit successfully dismantled five unexploded aerial bombs left over from Israeli strikes in the Haret Hreik area of the southern suburb of Beirut.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in a statement issued by the Directorate of Orientation, the army said that three of the bombs were transported for further disposal procedures, while efforts are ongoing to move the remaining two safely.

The military also urged citizens to avoid approaching damaged or affected areas and to immediately report any suspicious objects to the nearest military post.

The operation comes amid continued efforts by the Lebanese Armed Forces to clear unexploded ordnance across affected regions in southern Lebanon and the Beirut suburbs.
