Tyre: The Ministry of Public Works and Transport in Lebanon continues the implementation of the "Reconnecter le Liban" campaign in the southern regions of the country. This initiative aims to restore connections between affected areas and their main communication routes, facilitating the movement of residents and ensuring their access to homes and essential services.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, this initiative is part of a field intervention plan focused on repairing damage from attacks, reopening damaged roads, and gradually restoring traffic in affected regions. Under the direct instruction of the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, the ministry's southern regional directorate has contracted companies to carry out tasks such as clearing rubble and obstacles caused by destruction, reopening roads closed due to attacks, and rehabilitating several primary and secondary roadways.

In the caza of Tyre, interventions have been concentrated in the city of Tyre, particularly in the industrial area, Al-Bass neighborhood, and public housing areas. The work also extends to the localities of Hanniy©, Cana, Qlail©, Deir Qanoun Ras el-An, Jouaya, Chehabiy©, Srifa, Chhour, and Arzoun. Teams have undertaken significant debris clearance, reopening damaged roads, and restoring pathways affected by direct hits, thereby facilitating residents' movement and reconnecting neighborhoods and villages.

In the caza of Bint Jbeil, efforts have covered localities such as Borj Qalaouiy©, Froun, Kafra, Ghandouriy©, Kounine, Beit Yahoun, Brachit, Chaqra, and Dbayeh. Teams have cleared debris and reopened numerous roads, improving access to residential areas and essential infrastructure. In Hadatha, ministry machinery has accessed and reopened several damaged roads for the first time since the onset of the conflict, reconnecting areas within the locality and easing residents' movement.

In the caza of Marjeyoun, work continues in areas including Qabrikha, Majdal Selm, and Blat, focusing on debris clearance and reopening affected roads. Municipalities such as Chaqra, Dbayeh, and Brachit have praised the ministry's cooperation and efforts in clearing rubble and rehabilitating public roads, supporting the gradual return to normalcy, citizen safety, and traffic flow.

The ministry has affirmed that these operations will continue based on humanitarian and public service priorities, in coordination with relevant authorities. The goal is to expedite rehabilitation work, restore traffic on affected routes, and ensure access to infrastructure and essential services, in line with its commitment to recovery, stability, and local development.
