Lebanon Advances to Asian U-18 Girls’ Beach Volleyball Quarterfinals


Tashkent: The Lebanese Women’s Volleyball team, comprising Lara Al-Nahi and Yasmine Mawlawi, qualified for the quarterfinals of the Asian U-18 Beach Volleyball Championship for boys and girls, currently taking place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, until May 10.



According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the Lebanese duo advanced after defeating Malaysia U18 Beach Volleyball Team 2-1 in the 16th round. They are scheduled to face the Japan U18 Beach Volleyball team later today.



In the same round, Lebanon’s other duo, Sara Bakour and Katina Haffar, lost to the China U18 Beach Volleyball Team 0-2.
