Beirut: Lebanon’s Foreign Ministry condemned what it described as unacceptable actions carried out by members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, saying they constituted a violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and breached international law, the UN Charter, and principles of good neighbourly relations.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the ministry reiterated Lebanon’s firm rejection of any attempts to threaten the stability or national security of Arab states. This strong stance underscores Lebanon’s commitment to maintaining regional stability and upholding international norms and agreements.
The ministry also renewed Lebanon’s full solidarity with Kuwait and support for measures taken by the Gulf state to safeguard its security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. This declaration of support emphasizes Lebanon’s dedication to fostering harmonious relations within the Arab world and ensuring the protection of its neighboring states.
