Karak:Beirut Lebanon's Grand Mufti, Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian, has condemned the attack on a church located in Jordan's Karak Governorate. He described the incident as an act of terrorism that contravenes Islamic law and is an attempt to destabilize Jordan's security, stability, and coexistence.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Derian issued a statement expressing Dar al-Fatwa's solidarity with the leadership and people of Jordan. He warned against efforts to incite sectarian tensions in the region.

Derian emphasized that Islam strictly prohibits attacks on human life. He extended condolences to the King of Jordan, the Jordanian government, and its citizens, while also wishing a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.
